Why we started

We Learned The NDIS As Parents. Then We Worked Inside It.

One of us worked as a support coordinator. One worked in NDIS quality and compliance, in the lead auditor role. So we know what a provider looks like from the inspection side. We're also parents of a participant with complex disabilities. We know the 6am call when a shift falls over, and how the rest of the day goes after it.

Beyond the NDIS

Private and in-home care, without an NDIS plan

Not everyone we support has an NDIS plan, and that's completely fine. Private in-home care is available to fund yourself, with the same local team you'd get through the NDIS. We'll give you a written quote before anything starts. One thing to know: we're not registered for Aged Care. If that's what you need, we'll point you somewhere that can help.

The things families and coordinators ask us most.

Are you a registered NDIS provider?

Yes. J&J Supports is a registered NDIS provider, audited against the national quality and safeguarding standards. One of our founders worked as a lead auditor, so those standards shaped how we run. Ask us for our provider number any time and we'll give it to you.

Will we get the same support worker each time?

We roster a small local team and match workers to you, so you get familiar faces. Leave and illness still happen, so we won't promise one person forever. What we will do is tell you who's coming, and why.

Can I change provider without a gap in my supports?

Usually, yes. Most changes overlap, so your current supports keep running while we get set up. We'll walk you through exactly what we need and when, so nothing falls between the two.

How do I get started with J&J Supports?

Give us a call or send an enquiry. We'll talk through your goals and your plan, check we're the right fit, and tell you honestly what we can staff and when.

Do you support plan-managed and self-managed participants?

We work with NDIA-managed, plan-managed and self-managed participants. If you're not sure how your plan is managed, bring it in and we'll read through it with you.

Which areas do you cover?

We're based in Dromana and support participants across the Mornington Peninsula, from Mornington and Mount Eliza down to Portsea, and across to Hastings and Somerville. If you're just outside that, call us and we'll tell you what we can do.
